We are looking for a motivated and professional Travel Insurance Agent to join our team. No previous insurance experience is required. The selected candidate will receive full training and support from the company to understand travel insurance products, customer service procedures, policy issuance, and regulatory requirements.
The company will also assist the candidate in the process of obtaining the required insurance license from the Central Bank of Jordan, subject to applicable rules and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries in person.
- Explain travel insurance plans, benefits, coverage limits, exclusions, and policy conditions to customers in a clear and professional manner.
- Assist customers in choosing the appropriate travel insurance policy based on destination, travel dates, visa requirements, and customer needs.
- Issue travel insurance policies through the company’s online system after receiving proper training.
- Verify customer information, including full name, passport or ID details, date of birth, travel dates, destination, and contact details.
- Ensure accuracy of all customer data before policy issuance.
- Assist customers who face difficulties using the website or online payment process.
- Coordinate with management and the insurance provider for policy corrections, amendments, and special cases.
- Follow company procedures related to confidentiality, data protection, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any subject.
- No previous insurance experience is required.
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Good computer skills and ability to use online systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Willingness to learn insurance procedures, travel insurance products, and customer service standards.
- Professional attitude and strong customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple customer requests.
- Willingness to complete training and licensing requirements as required by the Central Bank of Jordan.
Training and Licensing
- Full training will be provided by the company.
- The company will train the candidate on travel insurance products, policy issuance, customer service, compliance, and internal procedures.
- The company will assist and support the candidate in applying for and obtaining the required insurance license from the Central Bank of Jordan, subject to meeting the applicable requirements.
- Continuous guidance and supervision will be provided during the training and licensing period.
Preferred Skills
- Interest in learning about insurance, travel, and online customer support.
Working Conditions
- Both stationed in Galaria Mall, with possible online customer support duties.
- May require follow-up with customers during urgent travel-related cases.
- Must maintain confidentiality of customer personal information at all times.
