Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting interiors and exteriors of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation:
Clean, sand, and prime surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of paint.
Repair cracks, holes, and imperfections in walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
Cover furniture, floors, and fixtures with drop cloths or masking tape to protect them from paint splatters.
Paint Application:
Apply paint, varnish, stain, and other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and textures.
Ensure even and smooth application of paint for a professional finish.
Detail Work:
Paint trim, edges, and intricate details with precision.
Touch up paintwork as needed to maintain a flawless appearance.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow safety protocols when working with paints, chemicals, and equipment.
Ensure proper ventilation and use of protective gear (e.g., masks, gloves, goggles).
Comply with local regulations and building codes related to painting.
Client Interaction:
Communicate with clients to understand their painting requirements and preferences.
Provide recommendations on paint types, colors, and finishes.
Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality workmanship.
Equipment Maintenance:
Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment after use.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other construction or maintenance team members to complete projects on time.
Assist with other tasks as needed, such as wall repairs or minor carpentry work.
Qualifications:Required:
Proven experience as a professional painter.
Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to prepare surfaces and apply paint with precision.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Preferred:
Certification or training in painting or a related field.
Experience with spray painting equipment.
Familiarity with different types of paints (e.g., latex, oil-based, epoxy).
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the painting industry.
Working Conditions:
On-site work at residential, commercial, or industrial properties.
Exposure to paint fumes, dust, and varying weather conditions (for exterior painting).
May require working at heights (e.g., on ladders or scaffolding).
Flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, depending on project requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 – AED1,800.00 per month
