Transport Supervisor Jobs in Dubai at Aladdin Container Company
IV Cannulation:
Perform IV cannulation, ensuring proper insertion and maintenance of intravenous lines.
Assess and select suitable veins for cannulation.
Monitor and manage IV infusions, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Blood Extraction:
Conduct venipuncture and capillary puncture for blood sample collection.
Follow standard procedures for handling and labeling blood samples to avoid contamination.
Ensure accurate identification and documentation of patient samples.
Patient Care:
Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns to reduce anxiety.
Monitor patients post-procedure for any adverse reactions or complications.
Provide first aid or immediate care in case of complications during or after cannulation and blood extraction.
Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to infection control protocols, including the proper disposal of needles and other sharps.
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting and documentation of procedures.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in patient care.
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff in IV cannulation and phlebotomy techniques
