Job Description: Graphic Designer for Apparel & Sublimation Printing + Screen MakingJob
We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer with experience in apparel design, sublimation printing, and screen making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs for clothing, preparing artwork for printing, and ensuring high-quality output for both sublimation and screen printing processes.
Key Responsibilities:Graphic Design for Apparel
Develop creative and trend-focused designs for various apparel items (t-shirts, hoodies, caps, uniforms, etc.).
Work closely with clients and the production team to create custom graphics for B2B orders.
Ensure designs align with brand identity and client requirements.
Adapt and modify designs for different garment types and printing methods.
Sublimation Printing
Prepare high-resolution print files for sublimation, ensuring accurate color output.
Create print-ready layouts with correct measurements for seamless transfer.
Operate and oversee sublimation printers when required.
Troubleshoot color inconsistencies and printing errors.
Screen Making & Printing Preparation
Prepare artwork for screen printing, ensuring proper color separations.
Create vector-based designs suitable for screen printing.
Assist in screen preparation, including film output and stencil creation.
Ensure proper ink selection and screen alignment for high-quality prints.
General Duties
Work with the production team to ensure design feasibility and efficient execution.
Stay updated on industry trends, new printing techniques, and design software advancements.
Maintain organized digital files for all artwork and production files.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional designs when needed.
Requirements:
Education: Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in apparel graphic design, sublimation printing, and screen making.
Software Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and other relevant design tools.
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of CMYK & RGB color modes, Pantone colors, and print file preparation.
Knowledge of heat press operations, sublimation paper, and ink management.
Hands-on experience with screen printing film separations and stencil making.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a clothing manufacturing or custom printing company.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of textile materials and their interaction with printing techniques.
Ability to multitask and collaborate with multiple departments.
