Job Description:
Al Yasat General Land Transport, a leading supplier of construction materials in Dubai, is looking for a Transport Coordinator (Allocator) to manage daily truck operations and ensure smooth delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate and dispatch trucks for deliveries based on client requirements.
- Coordinate with drivers to optimize routes and minimize delays.
- Communicate with clients regarding delivery schedules and updates.
- Track vehicle movements and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain transport records, fuel usage, and driver logs.
- Assist in resolving any transportation issues or delays.
- Ensure compliance with UAE transport regulations and company policies
- Maintain and update the company’s vehicle records and RTA documentation.
- Monitor vehicle registration and ensure timely renewal of vehicle registrations and related permits.
- Track vehicle insurance and registration expiry dates and coordinate renewals.
- Regularly check and monitor RTA traffic fines for all company vehicles.
- Coordinate the payment and clearance of traffic fines as instructed by management.
- Ensure all company vehicles comply with RTA regulations and legal requirements.
- Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, registration, insurance, and RTA-related documents.
- Coordinate with the RTA and other relevant authorities for vehicle-related requirements when necessary.
- Official duty hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- As part of transport operations, the Transport Coordinator is expected to maintain flexibility in responding to client calls and operational requirements outside normal working hours when necessary.
- Clients may contact the Transport Coordinator at any time for urgent transport coordination, dispatch, or delivery-related matters, and reasonable support will be provided to ensure smooth operations.
