Position: Transformer Testing Engineer – Siemens Energy

We are looking forward to adding to our team a dedicated full time member who is ready to travel throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and has substantial experience in the testing and commissioning of power transformers across various voltages, ratings, and configurations, including related sub equipment.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Testing and commissioning of power transformers with diverse voltages, ratings, and configurations, including accurate handling of testing tools.
- Providing technical clarification with sub suppliers, designers, and service providers.
- Planning and developing site logistics for installation, commissioning, and construction works.
- Controlling and supervising site activities in line with the project plan.
- Ensuring quality on the construction site, including non conformance reporting (NCR).
- Maintaining awareness of EHS requirements on construction sites (e.g., risk assessment, loss prevention, zero harm, work in height).
- Coordinating and following up with clients, consultants, and subcontractors at sites.
- Arranging all documents and forms required to acquire site gate passes for personnel and equipment.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant equivalent from a reputable university.
- At least 3 years’ experience on construction sites.
- Strong communication skills-both oral and written-alongside networking, negotiating, and influencing abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workloads effectively with minimal direct supervision, handling multiple diverse tasks.
- Effective problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in time critical situations.
- Sensitivity and responsiveness to the needs of diverse religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups.
- Proven integrity and high personal behavioral standards.
