We are recruiting a Trainer to join our Health & Safety team at our HQ in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Freezone.
Scope:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Health &
Safety training
programs in accordance with international standards, legal, and contractual requirements. The Trainer provides advice on
regulatory compliance
and promotes a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver high-quality, engaging Health &
Safety training
courses that meet employee learning needs and budget constraints.
Facilitate structured safety and regulatory training programs supporting company objectives and brand.
Create a strategic plan to expand training services to external clients and generate profit.
Contribute to training budget planning and
resource allocation
.
Customer Focus:
Conduct training needs analysis and develop tailored training plans.
Maintain accurate training records and reports, collaborating with the COE team.
Deliver training flexibly across shifts and locations, adapting to client needs.
Collaborate with trainers and leaders to develop and execute training initiatives.
Achieve set training targets and KPIs.Process Management:
Develop policies for training administration, delivery, assessment, and reporting.
Manage training records, schedules, and statistical reports.
Prepare performance reports and provide coaching to reinforce safety policies.
Update training materials according to regulatory changes.
Ensure UAE statutory safety standards are integrated into training programs.
Maintain high standards of training content through
continuous improvement
.
Assess trainee understanding and keep records of assessments.
Selection Criteria:4-5 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Health & Safety, or equivalent.
Recognized Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, NVQ).Certifications from competent local/international authorities for training delivery.
Lead or internal auditor qualification in ISO 45001/14001 is advantageous.
Knowledge of HSE standards, policies, and UAE safety legislation.
Strong
communication
, report writing, and MS Office skills.
