Trainee Service & Sales Engineer – Water Heaters & HVAC Jobs in Dubai Silicon Oasis at Cheqpoint Tech Trading LLC
Pay: AED 2,000 – 3,000 per month + performance incentive (commission)
Location: Dubai (in person) | Days: 6 days per week | Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
We are a Dubai-based MEP equipment supplier established in 2002, representing international HVAC and hot water brands. We are hiring a Trainee Service & Sales Engineer to grow into our water heater service and technical desk. No prior experience required. Full training is provided. This is a genuine opportunity to learn a specialist technical trade from the ground up.
This role also has a service-sales element: you will help turn service visits into paid repairs, upgrades and maintenance for our customers.
What you will do (with full training and supervision)
- Receive and log every service request (phone, email, WhatsApp) and track each job from intake to closeout so nothing is left open.
- Schedule and dispatch technicians, plan daily routes and confirm appointments with customers.
- Collect technician reports, photos, and parts-used records, and check they are complete.
- Learn to troubleshoot electric water heaters, calorifiers, boilers, and solar hot water systems, starting by shadowing and progressing to handling cases yourself.
- Learn to assess warranty claims and prepare technical quotations across our product range, with your work checked until you are ready to run it independently.
- Coordinate between the front desk, technicians, and customers to process warranty claims.
- Spot opportunities to offer paid repairs, replacements, and maintenance packages during service interactions, using our price list and guidance.
- Present quotations for out-of-warranty repairs and upgrades, and follow up with customers to convert them.
- Flag anything unusual or out of scope to management.
Who we are looking for
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (recent graduates welcome).
- A genuine willingness to learn, a hands-on attitude, and strong common sense.
- Organised and persistent; comfortable following up politely until things close.
- Comfortable talking to customers and, once trained, confident recommending paid services in an honest, helpful way.
- Good spoken and written English. Hindi, Malayalam, or Arabic an advantage.
- Comfortable with Excel, email, and WhatsApp.
- Available to work 6 days per week, in person.
