We are looking for a reliable and experienced Flatbed Truck Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently while ensuring all cargo is properly secured. The ideal candidate should have a valid driving license, a strong safety record, and experience operating flatbed trucks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a flatbed truck safely and in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo using straps, chains, and other tie-down equipment.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip and report any mechanical issues.
- Ensure cargo is transported without damage.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the truck clean and perform basic daily maintenance checks.
- Follow all health, safety, and transportation regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Heavy Truck Driving License.
- Minimum 1 years of experience driving flatbed trucks.
- Good knowledge of cargo securing techniques.
- Ability to handle long-distance and local deliveries.
- Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance knowledge.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and securing cargo when required.
- Clean driving record.
