We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Tour Agent tojoin our team. As a Tour Agent, you will play a key role in providing exceptional travel experiences to our clients, helping them plan and book their dream vacations or business trips. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellentcommunication skills, and a strong understanding of different destinations and travel services.
Key Responsibilities
:
Assist clients in planning and booking travel packages, including flights, hotels, transportation, and activities.
Provide expert advice on destinations, local attractions, itineraries, and travel requirements.
Tailor travel packages to meet individual customer preferences, needs, and budgets.
Offer recommendations and upsell additional services (e.g., excursions, insurance, upgrades).
Coordinate and confirm all travel arrangements for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Respond to customer inquiries promptly and provide exceptional customer service.
Maintain detailed knowledge of current travel trends, special promotions, and new destinations.
Handle travel changes, cancellations, and special requests.
Prepare and provide clients with all necessary travel documents, including itineraries and tickets.
Maintain accurate records of client bookings and transactions.
Stayup-to-dateon industry regulations,safety protocols, and destination information.
Requirements
:
Proven experience in the travel or tourism industry (1-2 years preferred).
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of popular travel destinations, hotels, andtransportation options.
Proficient in using travel booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in afast-paced environment.
Strongproblem-solving skillsandattention to detail.
Fluency in [languages] is a plus.
A passion for travel and an interest in helping others explore the world.
Preferred Qualifications
:
Experience with global distribution systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
Certification in travel planning or tourism (e.g., IATA or CLIA certification).
