Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, punctures, and proper inflation.
- Remove and install tires on cars, trucks, buses, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Repair punctured or damaged tires when possible.
- Perform wheel balancing and tire rotation.
- Maintain the correct tire pressure according to manufacturer specifications.
- Replace worn or damaged tires and tubes.
- Check wheel rims for damage and ensure proper fitment.
- Keep records of tire replacements, repairs, and inventory.
- Maintain tire tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow company safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Ensure the work area is clean and organized.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience as a Tireman or Tire Technician.
- Experience with commercial vehicles, heavy trucks, buses, or construction equipment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of tire repair techniques, balancing, and alignment basics.
- Ability to use tire-changing machines and related tools.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy tires.
- Basic communication skills in English or Arabic.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Experience:
- Fleet maintenance.
- Construction or industrial equipment.
- Mining, logistics, or transportation companies.
