Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Supervision Architect to oversee construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate must have strong site supervision experience in a consultancy firm in the UAE, with expertise in snagging, de-snagging, project closeout, and handover documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision & Quality Control
Monitor architectural works on-site, ensuring adherence to approved designs and specifications.
Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high construction standards.
Review materials, finishes, and workmanship to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve site issues efficiently.
Project Closeout & Handover
Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections, identifying and ensuring the rectification of defects.
Verify as-built drawings and ensure all changes are accurately documented.
Prepare and compile handover reports and closeout documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Assist in obtaining necessary approvals and project completion certificates.
Coordination & Communication
Act as a key liaison between clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
Attend site meetings, provide status updates, and address any architectural concerns.
Ensure all architectural site-related decisions align with project objectives and timelines.
Requirements:
– Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience in a consultancy firm in the UAE.
– Strong expertise in project closeout, snagging, and de-snagging.
– Excellent understanding of UAE construction codes, regulations, and quality standards.
– Proven ability to review and approve architectural finishes, materials, and detailing.
– Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
