Role Description This full-time Test Drives Coordinator role is an on-site position based in Riyadh. The Test Drives Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing test drive activities to ensure a smooth and safe experience for participants. Day-to-day tasks include scheduling test drives, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, preparing vehicles and documentation, and ensuring all test drive procedures and quality standards are followed. The role involves monitoring test drive performance, collecting feedback, maintaining accurate records, and reporting on key metrics to support continuous improvement. The coordinator also supports customer communication, addresses inquiries, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise a team of test drivers to carry out 2 to 3 test drive shifts per day, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to the test schedule. 
  • Collect, review, and consolidate feedback from test drivers following each shift. 
  • Ensure complete, accurate, and timely documentation of all test drive results, observations, and incidents in the designated reporting/tracking systems. 
  • Prepare and submit weekly status reports summarizing test progress, mileage/shift completion, open issues, and key findings to project stakeholders. 
  • Act as the central point of contact for customer project managers and function owners regarding test drive execution, status updates, and issue resolution. 
  • Monitor driver compliance with safety regulations, test protocols, confidentiality requirements, and vehicle handling guidelines. 
  • Coordinate shift scheduling, vehicle allocation, and route/track planning together with logistics and fleet management. 
  • Support the onboarding, briefing, and training of new test drivers on test procedures, documentation tools, and safety standards. 
  • Escalate technical issues, vehicle malfunctions, or safety concerns promptly to the relevant engineering or management contacts. 
  • Maintain vehicle logbooks and ensure prototype/test vehicles are handled in line with confidentiality and camouflage requirements. 
  • Support continuous improvement of test drive processes, tools, and documentation quality. 

Requirements:

  • Saudi national (Preferred) 
  • Valid Saudi driving license; prior experience in automotive testing, proving ground operations, or fleet coordination is an advantage. 
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, spoken and written, with the ability to prepare professional reports in both languages. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple drivers and shifts simultaneously. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise confidently with customer representatives and internal function owners. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with test data or reporting tools is a plus. 
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data accuracy and documentation quality. 
  • Willingness to work flexible/shift schedules, including early morning, evening, or extreme-heat testing conditions typical of proving ground environments in Saudi Arabia. 
  • Team player with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. 

Work Conditions:

  • Based at the proving ground / test site, with regular exposure to outdoor testing environments. 
  • Flexible working hours may be required to align with test shift schedules.
