The Role
As the Corrosion Engineering Lead for a high-profile offshore expansion project, you will be at the helm of ensuring that all corrosion and material engineering activities are executed to the highest standards. You’ll be overseeing key project components, ensuring compliance with specifications, and guiding contractors towards successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead corrosion and materials engineering for offshore and pipeline designs, ensuring alignment with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Operations, Drilling, Well Management, and more, ensuring effective engineering interfaces.
Provide expert guidance to contractors, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Review and approve material selection, corrosion control strategies, and other engineering deliverables, facilitating the successful completion of key design workshops.
Monitor progress, resolve challenges, and ensure smooth coordination across engineering disciplines to achieve flawless project execution.

Candidate Profile
We’re looking for someone with :
10+ years of experience in materials / corrosion engineering, with a proven track record on major offshore projects in the oil and gas sector.
A solid understanding of design standards , safety criteria , and offshore facility design .
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex tasks under tight deadlines.
A degree in Engineering (or equivalent), and relevant certifications are a plus.
Previous experience in Brownfield engineering is highly preferred.
