Job Vacancy is available for Tender/ Bid Engineer position with Experience range between 3 and 5 years in similar role.
The Duties shall be performed under partial to minimum supervision from the Head of the Tender Department.
Main Duties:
Meeting with owners/ Clients and collect/ understand owner’s requirements for the project and communicate the same to design team and ensure compliance with these requirements by following up the design process / review of design drawings upon completion.
Review Prepared Drawings (Architectural, Structural, and MEP) prior to preparing the Tender Documents. Ensure that the prepared drawings are complete, accurate and clear as Tender Documents.
Preparing Tender Documents including Contract, Contract Conditions, Technical Speocifxactions, and BOQs as per the Office standard format.
Carry out Tender Floating and responding to Contractors RFIs during Bidding stage in collaboration with Design team.
carrying out Commercial and Technical Analysis of Contractor’s offers.
Preparing the review comments of Contractors offers, communicate these comments to contractors and obtain the revised offers.
Prepare Tender Analysis reports, briefs.
As a tendering engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating tenders from qualified Contractors to ensure completeness, correctness, and compliance with the required scope of work.
Carry out Quantities Surveying/ review/ checking as required to evaluate the commercial offers from Contractors.
Prepare the Contract Agreement upon awarding of works to the winning Contractor.
Cary out Documentation process of Tender Documents.
Assistance in preparing response to RFPs to Owners.
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience 2 years inside UAE,
BSs in Civil/ Architectural Engineering,
Solid/ Excellent Skills in Word, Microsoft Project, Excel, are must.
Solid / Excellent Skills in AutoCAD, Rivet, Soft plan are must.
Solid / Excellent knowledge of Tender Documents,
Excellent in Formal English (Written / Oral)
Good knowledge of Formal Contractual Communication.
Being able to prepare accurate and presentable reports.
Good Attitude and commitment to Quality and organized.
