Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai for a Tally Sales / Store Assistant / Switchgear Electrical Technician / Store Keeper. The role involves handling walk-in and telephone sales inquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, and supporting customers with product selection for electrical materials and switchgear components. The team member will assist with Tally-based billing and inventory updates, coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, and maintain accurate stock records. Daily tasks include organizing the store, labeling items, conducting regular stock checks, and ensuring compliance with safety and handling procedures for electrical products. The role also requires collaboration with the technical team to identify switchgear specifications, support troubleshooting of basic electrical issues related to products, and provide professional, timely customer service at the counter and over the phone.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Management skills to handle inquiries, convert leads, manage pricing, and support ongoing business growth.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to learn product specifications quickly and, where required, guide colleagues or customers on product usage and features.
- Experience with Tally or similar accounting/inventory software and basic knowledge of storekeeping procedures and documentation.
- Technical understanding of electrical materials, switchgear, and related products, with the ability to read basic specifications and part numbers.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy in data entry, and attention to detail in inventory control and stock management.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage physical store activities, and adhere to safety and handling protocols.
- Previous experience in electrical supplies, retail, or warehouse/store operations is an advantage; vocational or technical qualification in electrical engineering or a related
