TELECOM TECHNICIAN – MUX / NETWORKING

Work Schedule: 5 Days per Week
Salary & Benefits:
- Option 1: QAR 2,000–2,250 + Accommodation + Transportation + Other Benefits
- Option 2: Full Package QAR 3,000–3,250 + Transportation (Accommodation not included)
Qualification
- Completed School Diploma.
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of extensive hands-on experience in Telecommunications, particularly:
- MUX / Multiplexing Systems
- Telephony Systems
- Networking
- Completed multiple telecommunications-related training programs.
- Full-time field/site experience as a Telecom Technician, with hands-on knowledge of:
- LAN Cabling
- Cable Dressing and Management
- Telecom Installation Works
- Basic Power Supply Systems
- Fiber Optic Cables
- LAN Copper Cables
- Experience working with Ooredoo, Vodafone, or similar telecom infrastructure is highly preferred.
- Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in field/site environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support telecommunication and networking systems.
- Perform installation and maintenance of MUX and telephony equipment.
- Carry out LAN cabling, cable dressing, termination, labeling, and cable management.
- Install and maintain fiber optic and LAN copper cables.
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of telecom network connections.
- Support installation and maintenance of telecom power supply systems and associated equipment.
- Assist with network equipment installation, connectivity, and basic configuration as required.
- Perform site surveys and identify requirements for telecom installation activities.
- Troubleshoot faults and perform corrective maintenance to restore telecom services.
- Maintain accurate site reports, test records, cable schedules, and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technical teams during installation and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved HSE procedures, technical standards, and site requirements.
- Support telecom infrastructure activities for Ooredoo, Vodafone, and other telecom networks as required.
Pay: QAR3,000.00 – QAR3,250.00 per month
