The GM is responsible for managing and staffing the company to ensure corporate goals are achieved, functioning under the authorities and responsibilities delegated by the BOD.
As General Manager, responsible achievement of the following overarching targets with regards to over-all operations.
1. Operations: oversee all activities related to aqua culture, fisheries resource management, facility maintenance and upgrades.
2. Finance: Work with the finance director to produce capital and operating budgets; present quarterly budget tracking reports to finance, executive and BOD upon request. Assess and optimize the financial performance and profitability of the systems to meet the operational targets.
3. Fish Sales: Oversee the sales team in the development of fish sales contracts and fulfilling the deliveries.
4. Administration: All activities concerning permitting, insurance, human resources management, bylaws, policies and procedure.
5. Agency Coordination: Work closely with authorities to manage the fisheries optimum commercial fisheries benefit and ensure collection of broodstock and cost recover. Ensure all permitting through authorities is in compliance.
6. Board & Management: Coordinate the activities of the BOD. Ensure that the BOD are informed as needed or have access to information. Foster state fisheries political awareness.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED20,000.00 – AED30,000.00 per month
