Work Schedule: 5 Days per Week
Salary & Benefits:
- Option 1: QAR 4,750–5,000 + Accommodation + Transportation + Other Benefits
- Option 2: Full Package QAR 6,000–6,500 + Transportation (Accommodation not included)
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience & Technical Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
- Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in:
- Water Mega Reservoirs
- Pumping Stations
- Water Utilities
- OEM / Automation companies
- Hands-on experience with major PLC, RTU, Networking, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols and automation networks.
- Knowledge of OT cybersecurity practices and security requirements for industrial control systems.
- Experience with field instrumentation and automation system maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Instrument Loop Drawings
- Electrical Hook-up Drawings
- P&IDs
- Electrical/Wiring Drawings
- Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with different end users, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Good project coordination and management skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure effective maintenance and reliable operation of automation, control, and networking systems installed in Water Mega Reservoirs and Pumping Stations.
- Perform troubleshooting and fault rectification of PLC, RTU, DCS, SCADA, networking, and control systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot DCS/SCADA/PLC databases, configurations, and system interfaces.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of automation and control systems.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential failures or operational issues.
- Support troubleshooting of industrial communication networks and protocols.
- Ensure automation systems and equipment are maintained in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements.
- Review and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and electrical hook-up drawings during maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
- Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, IT/OT, operations, and other technical teams.
- Supervise technicians and provide technical guidance during maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical reports, system databases, and documentation.
- Support system modifications, upgrades, testing, commissioning, and integration activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable OT cybersecurity practices and operational requirements.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and support timely restoration of critical water automation systems.
Pay: QAR6,000.00 – QAR6,500.00 per month
