Job description:
Job Purpose Key Accountability Areas
- Support start up, testing, and commissioning activities across DMF, UF, SWRO, BWRO, CEDI, GTMDO and chemical injection units.
- Support pipeline flushing, hydrotesting, and pre-commissioning activities.
- Monitor plant parameters, record operational data as per OEM guidelines.
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of pumps and dosing systems.
- Assist in chemical preparation, dosing calibration, and system flushing.
- Carry out routine cleaning of strainers, cartridge filters, and dosing lines.
- Inspect pumps, vacuum pumps, blowers, valves, actuators, and instrumentation for proper operation.
- Monitor chemical storage levels and support safe unloading and transfer of chemicals.
- Perform backwashing, air scouring, and CIP activities for DMF, UF, and RO systems.
- Inspect and replace cartridge filters, check SDI/turbidity, and ensure pretreatment integrity
- Track critical process parameters and water parameters to ensure optimal operation of the plant to avoid any concerns of scaling & fouling.
- Calibrate online conductivity/resistivity, pH, ORP, DO, COâ‚‚, and flow/pressure instruments. Conduct routine grab sampling: conductivity, silica, DO & Sodium and reconcile with online analyzers.

- Execute the operational activities as per delivery schedules and work instructions.
- Solve any related issues arise and escalate any complex operational problems.

- Execute the tasks as per work routines and instructions.
- Comply to related policy, procedures, and processes.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and regulations
Academic Qualification Diploma Degree in Mechanical Institue Work Experience 6 to 10 Years Technical / Functional Competencies Quality Control Safety Troubleshooting Communication Multi-Tasking Teamwork Physically fit Hand/Power Tool Proficiency Equipment Maintenance Quick learning Adaptability
