Position: TECHNICIAN (MECH)
Participates in the skilled mechanical maintenance activities of rotating and stationary equipment/process plant machineries of the assigned areas, i.e., Gas distribution systems (GDS) or Tank farm/Terminal/NGCF Areas. This includes execution of preventive, corrective, breakdown & inspection related mechanical maintenance jobs on equipment/machineries like:
Oil/Condensate export Pumps
Marine loading arms
Diesel engines
Crude and condensate storage tanks
Crude & condensate loading terminal equipment including Oil fiscal metering systems
Prover loops
Pipe lines/valves/related accessories
Compressors
Pumps
Fin-fans
Heat exchangers/coolers
Water storage tanks
Vessels
Fire protection systems/foam systems
Also executes minor pipe fabrication/fitting jobs. Carries out work in accordance with Corporation and applicable industry standards.
Experience
4 years of experience in the maintenance of compressors, pumps, and associated equipment.
Good knowledge of spoken and written English. Good knowledge in Computer.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary (12 years) education, followed by 3 years formal full-time education (equivalent to Diploma) to HND level or equivalent.
