Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues accurately
- Perform repairs on engines, transmission, braking, and electrical systems
- Interpret diagnostic reports and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer and safety standards
- Maintain detailed records of diagnostics, repairs, and services performed
- Coordinate with service advisors and workshop teams
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI in Automotive Engineering or related field
- 3–6 years of experience as a diagnostic technician
- Strong knowledge of:
- Engine systems
- Electrical & electronic systems
- Vehicle diagnostics tools (OBD, scanners)
