If you have programming experience in application/web development, enterprise system administration, and can communicate technical concepts effectively, we want to hear from you. We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our AWS Skills Center Training Team in a leadership role.
As a Technical Trainer, you will deliver training content to new learners, aligning with our mission to make cloud computing educationimpactful for professional growth. You will combine a passion for teaching with enthusiasm for technology to foster learning and build positive customer relationships. Excellent communication skills and proven training experience are essential.
Key job responsibilities
Deliver instructor-led classroom training regularly at a single location, with occasional travel.
Provide oversight and strategic direction to the team, aligning with business goals.
Help shape the ongoing strategy and mission of the AWS Skills Centers program.
Develop and maintain technical training content, labs, presentations, and materials.
Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure accurate training content.
Mentor and train internal and external trainers as part of a train-the-trainer program.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years in programming, systems architecture, or systems administration.
Experience conducting classroom training for related technologies.
Technical degree (e.g., Computer Science) or relevant work experience.
Recent experience architecting, deploying, and operating Internet-scale applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure services.
Experience designing instructor-led technical content.
Proven success in training projects, self-sufficient and proactive.
Recent coding experience in Java, .Net, Perl, PHP, Ruby, or Python.
Experience with Windows and Linux command line.
Strong presentation, interpersonal, and writing skills.
