Summary
The Business Applications Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of business-critical software applications across the organization. This role ensures that business applications align with the company’s operational needs and strategic goals, while maintaining optimal functionality, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining and optimizing ERP, OCI, POS, CRM software, WMS software, BI software.
Operating, optimizing, developing and supporting new web applications and mobile applications.
Managing, coordinating, customization and integration with third party solutions.
Evaluating technology risk and managing disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
Coordinating with business divisions on enhancing workflow and developing optimal BI tools for business requirements.
Assessing and advising system processes & operating procedures with regular review and recommendation.
Collaborating effectively with data center manager and programmers.
Assessing functionality and operational ability of our business applications and its implementation.
Manage and execute software development projects. Conduct vendor assessment for any new software application implementation / AMC.
Oversee the day-to-day management of business applications.
Ensure that applications are running smoothly, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and manage system updates and upgrades.
Develop and document application governance standards, policies and procedures.
Lead and manage the deployment of new business applications or system upgrades.
The primary point of contact for third party application vendors and service providers.
Manage vendor relationships, and ensure service level agreements are met.
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and system improvements.
Work with business stakeholders to design and implement improvements that increase efficiency and productivity.
Conduct system audits and user training sessions to optimize application usage.
Ensure that business applications are integrated with data management systems for accurate reporting and analytics.
Work with business units to ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across applications.
Produce report on application performance, usage, and business outcomes.
Develop cost effective strategies for application maintenance, licensing, and support.
