Role Overview – Data & AI Project Lead
- Key Responsibilities
- • End-to-end ownership of project delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and closure.
- • Manage and engage multiple stakeholders across business units, IT teams, and external partners.
- • Drive project governance using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking through JIRA.
- • Facilitate Project Review Working Groups, ensuring timely updates, risk mitigation, and effective decision-making.
- • Oversee vendor coordination and ensure adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- • Monitor project dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations across multiple workstreams.
- • Ensure successful delivery of Data, Analytics, Governance, and AI-related initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Required Skills and Experience
- • Minimum 12+ years of experience managing large-scale Data and AI projects, preferably within banking or financial services.
- • Strong technical understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and AI-driven solutions.
- • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and deliver programs under tight timelines.
- • Hands-on expertise in Agile project management, JIRA, and collaboration tools.
- • Strong communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
- • GCC and/or Qatar banking experience is highly desirable.
- Evaluation Criteria
- Submitted profiles will be assessed based on:
- • Relevance and depth of Data, Analytics, and AI project experience.
- • Demonstrated leadership in large-scale and complex transformation programs.
- • Banking / financial services domain exposure, preferably within Qatar or the GCC.
- • Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies and JIRA.
- • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors effectively.
- • Availability to support immediate project timelines.
