Systems Limited – Middle East & Africa (Techvista) is seeking a Technical PM / Development Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications. This role combines strong technical leadership with delivery management, focusing on driving engineering teams, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and aligning technical solutions with business objectives. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end development life cycles and play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage software development teams to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions
- Oversee the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and production support
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and actionable development plans
- Drive the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications
- Enforce coding standards, engineering best practices, and architectural guidelines
- Manage system integrations using APIs, microservices, and web services (REST/SOAP)
- Conduct code reviews and provide strong technical leadership and mentoring to development teams
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, QA, Dev Ops, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
- Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery bottlenecks
- Track development progress, manage timelines, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders
- Ensure proper documentation of technical designs, system components, and development processes
Required Competencies and Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software development with strong technical expertise
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Development Manager, or Engineering Lead
- Strong hands‑on experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of system design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
- Experience in API development, system integration, and backend engineering
- Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Dev Ops practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git‑based workflows, and modern development tool chains
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and scale engineering teams
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
