Description
This role will be responsible to :
- Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Conduct site inspections and prepare comprehensive reports on the progress and quality of construction work
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, including troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Participate in the development and implementation of project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and procedures.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technical Officer or in a similar technical role.
- Strong working knowledge of Mechanical and HVAC engineering principles, construction methods, and project management. techniques.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, BIM software, and other engineering design tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Airport experience can be added advantage.
