Technical Manager (Construction) Jobs in Dubai at Wadan Real Estate Development LLC
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager for our Contracting Company (ALC)with a strong background in high-rise building construction to lead the technical planning, design coordination, and execution of residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all technical aspects of the project are delivered in compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, project timelines, and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all technical aspects of high-rise construction projects from design through project completion.
- Coordinate with architects, structural, MEP, and civil consultants to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
- Review and approve construction drawings, technical submittals, material specifications, and shop drawings.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and solutions to project teams during construction.
- Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
- Conduct technical risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating materials and vendors.
- Participate in value engineering initiatives to optimize project cost and performance.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation for management and clients.
- Mentor and develop engineering and technical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Professional engineering certification or membership is preferred.
- Minimum 10–15 years of UAE experience in construction,
- Proven experience managing high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, structural systems, MEP coordination, and finishing works.
- Thorough understanding of local building codes, authority approvals, and construction regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
