Role Description The Technical Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing the technical planning and execution of landscape projects. Daily tasks include supervising project implementation, coordinating with design and construction teams, reviewing technical drawings and specifications, and ensuring work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role involves managing project timelines and resources, resolving technical issues on site, and liaising with clients and suppliers to align technical requirements with project goals. The Technical Manager also leads site inspections, prepares technical reports, and supports continuous improvement of processes and standards within the company.
Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in landscape design, construction, and maintenance, including the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Project management skills covering planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and on-site supervision of teams and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental best practices applicable to landscape projects in Dubai and the UAE.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, guide site personnel, and maintain professional client and supplier relationships.
- Proficiency with relevant software tools (e.g., CAD for reviewing drawings, project management applications, and basic office productivity tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in a technical or supervisory role within landscaping, construction, or a related industry, preferably in the UAE.
- Ability to work on-site in varying outdoor conditions, manage multiple projects concurrently, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
