We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient App Deployment Manager to oversee the end-to-end process of setting up, deploying, and maintaining branded apps on Google Play and Apple App Store. This role is responsible for managing developer accounts, ensuring store compliance, and liaising with our customers to facilitate a seamless app deployment process.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing Google Accounts for Branded Apps
Receive and process Google Developer Account invitations.
Verify organization status and ensure compliance with store policies.
Assist customers in resolving verification issues and completing their business registration.
Manage multiple Google Play developer accounts and troubleshoot discrepancies.
2. Managing Apple Developer Accounts
Accept and track Apple Developer account invitations.
Verify business section completion and paid apps agreement.
Guide customers through the setup and approval process for app submission.
Handle mismatches in account details and assist in troubleshooting access issues.
3. App Deployment & Compliance
Oversee the configuration, submission, and publishing of whitelabel apps.
Ensure app assets (icons, screenshots, descriptions) meet platform requirements.
Set up Firebase and integrate with Google Play services.
Validate Apple Developer certificates and provisioning profiles.
Execute deployment scripts for iOS and Android apps.
4. Troubleshooting & Support
Monitor app reviews and address common rejections with appropriate fixes.
Provide clear communication to customers regarding missing information.
Maintain accurate records of app versions, metadata, and expiration dates.
Update internal tracking systems and ensure all app information is correctly logged.
5. Process Automation & Documentation
Implement automation scripts for bulk deployments.
Track deployment logs and ensure smooth execution of release updates.
Document procedures and continuously improve the app deployment workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience managing Google Play Console and Apple Developer accounts.
Familiarity with app submission processes, store guidelines, and compliance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues related to app deployment.
Basic knowledge of Firebase, provisioning profiles, and certificate validation.
Excellent communication skills for guiding non-technical users through processes.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with scripting tools for deployment automation (Fastlane, Firebase CLI).
Familiarity with app tracking tools like Jira, Notion, or internal ticketing systems.
Prior experience in SaaS, health & fitness apps, or branded mobile applications.
