Job Summary
Mobco Group is seeking a highly experienced Technical Architecture Manager to join a prestigious luxury hospitality and high-rise development project in Makkah. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in architectural design management, technical coordination, and project delivery for large-scale hospitality developments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all architectural technical activities, ensuring design compliance, coordinating with consultants and construction teams, and supporting project execution from design development through construction and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all architectural technical office activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, hospitality brand standards, local regulations, and international best practices.
- Manage design development and technical coordination between consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Review and respond to RFIs, technical queries, design changes, and value engineering proposals.
- Coordinate architectural interfaces with Structural, MEP, Interior Design, Landscape, and Specialist Systems disciplines.
- Lead technical coordination meetings, design workshops, and consultant review sessions.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure architectural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review and approve architectural materials, mock-ups, samples, and finishing details.
- Support procurement teams in the technical evaluation and selection of architectural materials and specialist subcontractors.
- Manage design revisions, technical documentation, and change management processes.
- Prepare technical reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging, de-snagging, and project handover activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Mandatory).
- Master's Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Professional registration with a recognized architectural body is an advantage.
Required Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Architecture, Design Management, and Technical Project Delivery.
- Proven experience in luxury hospitality, hotel, mixed-use, and high-rise developments.
- Mandatory experience working on international hospitality brand projects.
- Strong background in architectural technical management and multidisciplinary design coordination.
- Experience managing consultant deliverables, design approvals, and construction support activities.
- Previous experience on large-scale projects within Saudi Arabia or GCC countries is highly preferred.
- Experience in landmark hospitality developments and premium hotel projects is highly desirable.
