Position: Flexible Teaching Assistant/Cover Teacher
We are looking to recruit a dynamic Teaching Assistant to assist in FS1, FS2, Year 1, Year 2, Music and French, who is also confident to do some cover teaching.
Responsibilities
Assist teaching in FS1, FS2, Year 1, Year 2, Music and French. Provide cover teaching as needed.
Qualifications
- A teaching qualification is desired, not essential
- Experience working with children (FS/KS1 age range is desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach
- English should be your first language
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Candidates should be residing in Qatar under a spouse or family sponsorship

Requirements
Candidates must have their degree and transcripts attested by a notary public and stamped by the Qatari Embassy in the country where they were issued.
Must be willing to undergo enhanced safeguarding checks and provide an ICPC (International Child Protection Certificate) or a local national equivalent, as well as a police clearance for any country of residence over the last ten years. A copy of your birth certificate, and marriage certificate or deed poll documents for any name changes are also required.
Application Process
Interviews will be held in May 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be observed teaching. Interviews will be arranged in Doha for those already living locally or via video call for international candidates.
The closing date is the 30th of May 2026. Early application is encouraged.
