The Wishing Tree Early Learning Group is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated female Early Childhood Teaching Assistants to join our foundation early learning team in Riyadh. Working closely under the guidance of the Classroom Teacher, you will help deliver high-quality, play-based educational programs aligned with the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Saudi Early Learning Standards. This role is instrumental in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where each child is nurtured and empowered to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Educational Program & Practice
Support the development and delivery of play-based, inclusive learning programs.
Assist in observing, documenting, and assessing children’s learning progress.
Collaborate in the planning and reflection process alongside the Classroom Teacher.
Foster independent learning and curiosity through project-based investigations.
Children’s Health & Safety
Uphold and model child protection standards and safety procedures.
Support hygiene, nutrition, and medical needs in alignment with policy and health regulations.
Maintain vigilant supervision to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
Physical Environment
Help maintain a safe, well-organized, and aesthetically pleasing learning space.
Ensure resources and equipment are used respectfully and appropriately.
Contribute to the centre’s sustainability and WHS practices.
Maintain respectful and professional communication with colleagues and leadership.
Participate in professional development and staff training programs.
Follow centre policies and contribute to a positive team culture.
Relationships with Children and Families
Build nurturing, respectful relationships with children and families.
Promote inclusion, cultural safety, and participation for all children.
Encourage parent involvement in centre activities and decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an early childhood or education setting.
Valid police clearance from Saudi Arabia and/or country of origin.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for early years education and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Pediatric First Aid certification.
Emergency Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training.
Child Protection Training.
