We are seeking adynamicand experiencedTarget Operating Model (TOM) – Managerto lead the design and implementation of a TOM for defense manufacturing programs. This role will involve ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering a comprehensive framework for efficient and scalable operations. The engagement is for a6-12 month duration, requiring a deep understanding of operating model frameworks and defense industry operations.

Requirements
Proven experience indesigning and implementing Target Operating Models.
Minimum of 12 years of total professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience inthe defense manufacturing sectoris highly preferred.
Certifications inproject management(e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or operational excellence (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
Other Qualifications
Strong analytical andproblem-solving skillsto identify inefficiencies and propose scalable solutions.
Excellentleadershipskills, with the ability to leadmultidisciplinaryteams and manage complex projects.
Effective communicationskills to facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Design the Target Operating Model
Develop a comprehensiveTOM frameworkfor defense manufacturing programs, incorporating operational workflows, governance, and performance metrics.
Ensure the TOM aligns with organizational goals, strategic priorities, and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, validate designs, and secure buy-in for the proposed operating model.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment andeffective communicationacross teams.
Implementation and Execution
Oversee the implementation of the designed TOM, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to existing operations.
Develop detailed plans forchange management,resource allocation, and process integration.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization
Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of the implemented operating model.
Identify areas forcontinuous improvementand recommend enhancements to optimize operations.
Training and Knowledge Transfer
Conduct training sessions and develop documentation to support teams in adopting the new operating model.
Ensure sustainable implementation by transferring knowledge and skills to internal teams.
