Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Talend Tech Lead with strong expertise in Talend Big Data Platform and modern data engineering technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale data integration and big data solutions, along with the ability to lead technical teams and guide architecture decisions.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL development
- Strong hands-on experience with Talend Big Data Platform
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Hive, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience working with data warehouses and large-scale data processing
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of data integration solutions using Talend Big Data Platform.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
- Work with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and distributed data platforms.
- Design and implement data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
- Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the data engineering team.
- Ensure best practices in data architecture, performance optimization, and data governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration and performance issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in enterprise data platforms or large-scale data environments
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with data orchestration and scheduling tools
- Ability to work in client-facing and cross-functional environments
