The Role
We are looking for experienced tailors to join our atelier production team. The role involves both machine tailoring and hand-finishing work on high-end couture garments. You will work alongside skilled embroiderers and artisans in a structured, professional workshop environment.
Responsibilities
- Cutting, sewing, and assembling garments from patterns and specifications provided by the design team
- – Machine stitching including straight stitch, overlock, and specialty stitching techniques
- – Hand-finishing, hemming, lining, and detail work to couture standards
- – Working with a wide range of fabrics including silk, chiffon, crepe, organza, brocade, and velvet
- – Alterations and fitting adjustments as required
- – Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
- – Meeting production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional tailoring experience
- – Proficiency in both machine sewing and hand-finishing techniques
- – Experience working with delicate and luxury fabrics
- – Ability to read and work from patterns and technical specifications
- – Strong attention to detail and quality
- – Must be currently based in Bahrain with a valid, transferable work visa
