Required Qualifications

• Previous experience asa Systems Administratoror similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMDlevel;
• Minimum of2years’experience with a BS/BA degree or0years’ experience with a MS/MA or6years’ experience withno degree. 4 years’ experience with AS/AA degree
• A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
• US citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications

• Must complete DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.

  Full-time on-site presencerequiredfor equipment management and asset tracking
• Travel:

Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Systems Administrator – Junior to support this mission at Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Applies fundamental operating system (e.g., Linux/Windows Server) and network protocol (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS) knowledge to support the secure and efficient operation of C2

  ISR Data Transport Infrastructure platforms.

• Support of GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE Primary transport and dissemination systems including DDS, B1

  DDS, B2TR, B3

  IGS

• Support of Cloud infrastructure including GC2, mC2, Joint Cloud with DAFCLOUDworks
• Support of Operations and Management systems including Service Now, CDS, CAAP
• Support of network Infrastructure including RGEPs, IGEPs, MGEP, ground terminals and gateways
• Support of Multiple network domains (e.g., Commercial, NIPR (CUI), SIPR, JWICS)
• Performs routine system administration tasks such as user account creation and modification within Active Directory or LDAP, basic file system management, and verifying system logs (e.g., syslog, Windows Event Viewer) for anomalies.
• Assistsin implementing systematic monitoring agents (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus exporters) on technological systems and network components, configuring basic alert thresholds and responding to low-severity notifications.
• Supports user and systems access management by executing predefined scripts or GUI tools for granting/revoking permissions to shared resources
• Aidsin the coordination and support of Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) by performing pre- and post-maintenance checks and providing initial support for troubleshooting common system errors (e.g., service restart, disk space issues).
• Works under direct supervision, focusing on executing routine operational tasks, basic scripting (e.g., simple Bash/Power Shell commands), and developing foundational knowledge of C2

  ISR system administration processes and environments.

• Utilize the following

  Role Specific Tools:
  Operating system administration tools (Windows Admin Center, Linux shell utilities); virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper V);
  Active Directory and LDAP;
  Service Desk ticketing systems (Service Now, Remedy); remote desktop support tools (Microsoft Remote Desktop, Team Viewer); backup and disaster recovery platforms (Veeam, Commvault); SIEM tools (Splunk, Arc Sight,QRadar); network monitoring tools (Solar Winds, Nagios, PRTG); configuration management databases (CMDB); documentation templates for compliance and reporting; endpoint security tools (McAfee, Symantec, Crowd Strike).
