JOB PURPOSE
Design managers develop and implement successful design strategies, outlining how the design team will create deliverables and implement them for the project. Design managers typically manage a team of several designers, evaluating individual design deliverables and overall team performance.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibility
Oversee the translation of products and solutions’ systems requirements (BRD/SRS) into high level designs (HLD) including architecture, ensuring all business and customer requirements are supported.
Contribute to the validation of designs with relevant stakeholders.
Oversee the analysis of RFPs/RFQs from a technical point of view and formulate plan and approach to acquire customer requirements in a timely manner.
Manage the preparation of Proof-of-Concept presentations to customers ensuring abidance by business and technical requirements.
Contribute to the design of customer-specific technical proposals by understanding customer requirements and functional solution design.
Monitor the consolidation of proposals ensuring inclusion of technical and functional requirements.
Contribute to the identification of potential OEMs that support company strategy and customer requirements and manage their assessments.
Scan potential OEM products that support company’s products and solutions’ future development and evolution and raise to higher management for selection.
Manage OEM product implementation ensuring full coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain product partnerships and relationships with OEMs and vendors ensuring adherence to delivery SLAs
Support the procurement process with scope of work detailing, technical requirements consolidation, and any other documentation.
Recommend potential vendors based on detailed capabilities assessment

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and Experience6 years and above of relevant experience, 2 years’ Experience in Supervisory role
Education and CertificationsB. Tech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or master’s in business administration or master’s in computer application or other graduation stream with relevant experience
