JOB OVERVIEW
Absolute Swimming is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Swimming Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality swimming lessons, promoting water safety, and creating a positive learning environment for swimmers ranging from toddlers to adults.
This role is ideal for an instructor who enjoys working with all ages, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and is passionate about fostering a positive learning experience while maintaining the highest safety standards.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Swimming Lesson Delivery :
Deliver swimming lessons, ensuring activities are age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with individual ability levels.
2. Swimmer Growth & Development :
Support the development of fundamental skills, stroke technique, water confidence, and overall swimming ability through structured and progressive instruction.
3. Participant Assessment & Record Keeping :
Monitor attendance and track swimmer progress, providing feedback to parents and management where required.
4. Session Planning :
Prepare structured lesson plans that support skill progression and align with the academy’s teaching standards and objectives.
5. Water Safety Education :
Promote safe practices in and around the pool while educating participants on essential water safety principles.
6. Pool Preparation & Equipment Management :
Prepare teaching equipment before lessons and ensure all equipment is properly stored after use while maintaining a safe and organized pool environment.
7. Safeguarding & Welfare :
Follow all pool operating procedures, safeguarding policies, and emergency action plans to ensure participant wellbeing at all times.
8. Parent Communication :
Build positive relationships with parents by providing updates on swimmer development, achievements, and areas for improvement.
9. Program Support :
Assist with swimming assessments, holiday camps, school programs as required.
10. Team Collaboration :
Work collaboratively with fellow instructors and management to ensure consistent delivery of high quality swimming programs.
11. Professional Standards :
Represent the organization in a professional manner and contribute positively to the growth and reputation of the swimming program through excellent coaching.
12. Reporting Structure :
Reports directly to the Academy Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification from a recognized governing body such as Swim England, STA or an equivalent recognized certification.
- Valid Passport (minimum 6 months validity required)
- Valid Iqama / National ID
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience
- Child Safeguarding Training Certificate
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate (Home Country & KSA – Absher)
Core Skills :
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Professional, reliable, and safety conscious approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for attendance tracking and reporting
Employment Options : Full-Time Swimming Instructor
- Schedule to be discussed during the interview process.
- Flexibility to work across multiple venues, programs, and events as required.
Part-Time Swimming Instructor
- Weekdays : Should be available to work within the 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM time window. Exact working hours will be confirmed based on the program schedule.
- Weekends : From 8:00 AM onwards, based on program requirements.

- Bachelor’s (Required)
Experience:
- Coaching: 2 years (Required)
Language:
- Fluently in English (Required)
License/Certification:
- Iqama to work in Saudi (Required)
