Job Description
- Strong swimming ability excellent knowledge of swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly), starts, turns, and techniques.
- Teaching skills ability to explain movements clearly and correct swimmers mistakes.
- Communication skills give instructions, encouragement, and feedback effectively.
- Safety awareness knowledge of water safety, rescue techniques, and emergency procedures.
- Patience and motivation help beginners, children, and advanced swimmers improve at their own pace.
- Fitness and training knowledge understand conditioning, endurance, strength, and flexibility exercises.
Qualifications And Skills
- ADQCC certificate – Mandotory
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification (BLS preferred).
- Strong swimming and rescue skills.
- Excellent observation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations.
- Physically fit and able to meet the demands of lifeguard duties
