Sweet Chef – Cake Decoration & Dessert Artist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Sweet Chef to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating high-quality desserts and has exceptional cake decoration skills with a strong eye for detail and presentation. This role requires someone who stays updated with dessert trends, can replicate and develop new recipes, and presents sweets in an attractive and appealing way that enhances the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and create a variety of high-quality desserts, cakes, pastries, and specialty sweets.

• Design and decorate cakes with precision, creativity, and attention to detail.

• Replicate existing recipes while developing new dessert concepts inspired by current market and social media trends.

• Ensure all desserts are visually appealing and presented to the highest standards before serving.

• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portioning, and presentation of all products.

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal and signature dessert offerings.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation in compliance with food safety standards.

• Monitor ingredient quality, minimize waste, and assist with inventory management.

• Operate pastry equipment safely and efficiently.

• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Saudi Residency (Iqama) is mandatory.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Sweet Chef, Pastry Chef, or Cake Decorator.

• Expert-level cake decorating skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong creativity and artistic ability in dessert design and presentation.

• Experience creating modern, trendy desserts and the ability to learn and replicate new recipes.

• Knowledge of various dessert preparation and pastry techniques.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
