Support Engineer III, CrossBorder Jobs in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at Amazon
We are looking for a Support Engineer who will own deployments, automation, scaling, and solving operational issues with software services. This role includes identifying and resolving issues, automating repetitive processes, and collaborating closely with the development team to address operational needs. You will become familiar with our system architecture while developing solutions for customers and services. Additionally, you will prioritize operational issues and scaling requirements to support the wider organization.

Requirements include:
2+ years of software development or technical support experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
Experience troubleshooting, operational excellence, and debugging technical systems
Experience in Java
Key responsibilities:
Mitigate policy engine, software risks, and shepherd risks
Resolve deployment failures with the support of the development team
Perform SOP-based standard arc launches
Implement ticket reduction plans
Write scripts or simple automation jobs
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of software development or technical support experience
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
Experience in Unix
Scripting experience in modern programming languages
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and software RAID
Experience with REST web services, XML, and JSON
