Supply Chain Specialist Jobs in Ash-Sharafiya, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at Pearl Recruitment
- Create and process purchase orders (POs).
- Follow up with suppliers on order status, delays, and confirmations
- coordinate with freight forwarders to arrange shipments
- Review shipping documents: (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading / AWB…)
- Track shipments and follow up on ETAs, delays, and transshipments
- Compare freight quotes and select cost-effective options
- Assign and verify (HS Code) for all imported items
- Ensure correct classification to avoid:
- Customs penalties
- Clearance delays
- Incorrect duties/VAT
- Coordinate with suppliers and brokers to confirm item descriptions
- Ensure having Product Certificates of Conformity (PCoC) if applicable.
- Shipment Certificates (SCoC)
- Coordinate with certification bodies and suppliers for required documents
- Follow up on SABER approval issues before shipment arrival
- Coordinate with customs brokers for smooth clearance
- Ensure all documents are accurate and submitted on time
- Handle issues such as:
- HS code disputes
- Missing documents
- Inspection holds
- Track shipments until final delivery
- Coordinate cleared shipments to warehouse or project sites
- Update internal teams on shipment status
- Align deliveries with project timelines
