Role Description:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Engineer to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient sourcing, procurement, inventory control, and logistics. The ideal candidate should be a proactive professional with a strong technical background, proven negotiation skills, and the ability to manage the end-to-end supply chain process in a dynamic trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shall be able to handle End to End International Logistics movements alone.
  • Plan and execute domestic and international shipments in coordination with freight forwarders and logistics providers.
  • Monitor shipments, track customs clearance, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Compliance of shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, Certificates of Origin) to ZATCA ensuring smooth customs clearance process.
  • Resolve logistics issues such as delays, damage, or freight claims efficiently.
  • Collaborate with sourcing teams to procure electrical components and technical materials based on project specifications.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure the best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Obtain and evaluate quotations timely for bidding purposes.
  • Submit invoices to the finance department promptly after material delivery.
  • Prepare and manage RFQs, purchase orders, and cost comparison analysis.
  • Maintain Approved Vendor List (AVL) and accurate procurement records.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, preferably in an industrial, electrical, or trading environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (such as Odoo) and data analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Incoterms, GCC trade compliance, and import/export procedures is a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the region as required.
