Role Description The Supervisor Dark Stores role is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh. The supervisor will oversee daily operations across assigned dark stores, including last mile, inventory accuracy, order picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure timely and error-free fulfillment and delivery. This role involves managing and scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. The supervisor will coordinate with logistics and delivery partners, resolve operational issues, and optimize workflows to support Q-Commerce service levels. Responsibilities also include monitoring KPIs, reporting on operational performance, implementing process improvements, and supporting the rollout of new procedures and systems within the dark store network.
Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in warehouse, fulfillment center, or dark store operations, including last mile operations, inventory control and order processing.
- Supervisory or team leadership skills, with experience managing shift schedules, performance, and training frontline staff.
- Strong operational planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage high-volume environments.
- English and Arabic language proficiency.
- Basic data and reporting skills, including tracking KPIs, analyzing operational issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Knowledge of logistics and last-mile delivery processes, especially in fast-paced e-commerce or Q-Commerce settings.
- Ability to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and standard operating procedures in storage and fulfillment facilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with internal teams, merchants, and delivery partners.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems or related digital tools; comfort working with technology-driven operations.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in the e-commerce sector is a must.
