JOB TITLE:

Supervisor – Construction (Lifting)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review lift plans for Non-Routine (Complex and Critical Categories), Weighing procedures, and Loadout Manuals with Construction Support Operations (CSO) department at

home office

. Must be in line with Petrofac and project HSSE policies and guidelines.  Working closely with Construction lead and team leads to develop lift and haul schedules at site and assist wide

optimization

and utilization of lifting resources according to site priorities.

Assessing lifting / hauling operations to provide planning, selection of crane, lifting gear & equipment, instruction, and necessary safety precaution.  Support in developing lift study, heavy haul plans, weighing and loadout plans, method statement and JSA’s.  Conduct daily site audits to ensure HSE and Lifting / Hauling inspections and procedure compliance.  Monitoring of project lifting & rigging operations to ensure all lifts are performed in accordance with approved rigging plans and procedure.

Qualified person for all Load-out, Load-in and Erection activities using lifting equipment.  Ensure all lifting / hauling equipment are well maintained, inspected and certified by approved 3rd party and meets the regulatory frequency.  Ensure all personnel involved in lifting / hauling operation are trained, competent and 3rd party certified.  Reviewing and approving routine lift plan, rigging & lifting procedure and lift studies including subcontractor’s lift plan.

Confirming there is an effective procedure for reporting defects and incidents and taking any corrective action.  Ensuring that the implementation of Petrofac procedures are in place and sub – contractors adhering to them.  Support in conducting Verification of Competency assessments onsite.  Input site construction feedback in Construction Observation Form.
