Study Abroad Consultant Internship Jobs in Dubai at Maiz Education Consultancy
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Study Abroad Consultant Intern to support students throughout their study abroad journey. The intern will be trained on the complete counselling and application process, including student communication, university shortlisting, documentation, and application support.
This internship is a learning-based role with hands-on training, and it may lead to a full-time position based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with students professionally through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and meetings.
- Understand student profiles, academic background, budget, preferred country, course interest, and career goals.
- Research and prepare university and course lists based on student eligibility and preferences.
- Check admission requirements, deadlines, tuition fees, scholarships, and application procedures.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing CVs, resumes, Statements of Purpose, Letters of Motivation, and student profiles.
- Help students improve the structure, content, and presentation of their CVs and resumes.
- Support in drafting personalized SOPs that match the student’s academic background and future goals.
- Maintain student records, document checklists, application trackers, and follow-up sheets.
- Coordinate with students to collect pending documents and ensure timely application submission.
- Assist in filling university application forms and checking documents before submission.
- Use Canva to create student-facing materials, flyers, social media posts, presentations, and university comparison designs.
- Draft professional emails for students, universities, and internal communication.
- Support counsellors with student follow-ups, application updates, and general administrative tasks.
- Learn about admission and visa processes for countries such as Germany, UK, Australia, Canada, USA, Spain, Italy, and other study destinations.
Required Skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and organizational skills.
- Good command of English.
- Basic knowledge of Canva.
- Ability to create and format CVs, resumes, SOPs, and student profiles.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets, email, and online research tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn and take guidance.
- Professional attitude when communicating with students and parents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed.
- Previous experience in education, counselling, administration, content writing, or student support will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of international education or study abroad processes is preferred but not mandatory.
