STS Mechanical Technician (Ship-to-Shore Crane) Jobs in الرياض at hire wise
We are seeking an experienced *STS Mechanical Technician* to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Ship-to-Shore (STS) container cranes. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in container terminal operations and be capable of maintaining heavy port equipment safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on STS cranes.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural components.
* Inspect wire ropes, brakes, gearboxes, bearings, hoists, trolley mechanisms, and boom systems.
* Replace and overhaul mechanical parts as required.
* Read and interpret mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals.
* Perform routine inspections and ensure equipment reliability.
* Coordinate with electrical technicians and maintenance teams during repairs.
* Maintain maintenance records and inspection reports.
* Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company procedures.
Requirements
* Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
* *Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an STS Mechanical Technician.*
* *Mandatory experience in ports, container terminals, or marine terminals.*
* Strong knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
* Ability to work shifts and respond to breakdowns.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: Up to ﷼3,000.00 per month
