Litco Industries is a specialized contractor engaged in the fabrication, supply, and erection of steel structures and metalworks. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Site Engineer to join our project team.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to oversee the on-site execution of steel fabrication, structure erection, and metalworks projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities related to steel fabrication, structure erection, and metalworks installation.
- Monitor on-site fabrication quality, including cutting, welding, fit-up, and dimensional accuracy of steel members.
- Review and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection plans to ensure accurate execution on site.
- Coordinate with project managers, fabrication teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project flow.
- Monitor work progress against the project schedule and report any delays or issues immediately.
- Ensure all erection activities comply with approved drawings, engineering specifications, and relevant codes/standards (AISC, SASO, SBC, etc.).
- Conduct site measurements, quality checks, and dimensional inspections of steel members before and after erection.
- Implement and enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures on site at all times.
- Prepare daily progress reports, site instructions, material requests, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate crane lifts, rigging plans, and erection sequences with the site team.
- Liaise with consultants and client representatives for inspections, approvals, and handover.
- Manage manpower, equipment, and material allocation on site to optimize productivity.
- Identify and resolve site issues related to design discrepancies, fit-up problems, or material shortages.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of site engineering experience in steel structure erection and metalworks projects.
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, structural steel erection methods, welding standards, and bolting procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural and fabrication drawings (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus).
- Familiarity with international structural steel standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ﷼9,000.00 – ﷼10,000.00 per month
