Your role
- Supervise the erection and installation of steel structures for OG metro stations including platforms concourses foot over bridges and roofing systems Ensure that all structural works are executed as per approved drawings specifications and relevant codes IS IRC Eurocode etc Coordinate with contractors consultants and internal teams to resolve technical issues on-site Monitor construction progress quality control and adherence to safety protocols Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed reports on structural works including non-conformities and corrective actions Review and verify shop drawings method statements and material submittals related to steel structures Liaise with design teams to address site-related design modifications or clarifications Ensure proper documentation of inspections approvals and quality records
- Bachelor s/master s degree in civil or Structural Engineering. Overall, 10 years experience with a minimum 5+ years on metro rail projects and at least 3 years in steel structure erection and supervision. Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, bolting, and erection techniques. Familiarity with structural drawings, connection detailing, and construction sequencing. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM tools is a plus.
