Work Schedule
- Full-time position
- Standard working hours with project-based flexibility
- Occasional site visits as required
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and review structural systems for buildings and infrastructure
- Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, and reports
- Ensure compliance with local and international building codes and safety standards
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress
- Identify and resolve structural issues efficiently
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and safety
- Support project planning, timelines, and technical documentation
In-Demand Skills We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro)
- Strong knowledge of international codes (ACI, BS, Eurocodes)
- AutoCAD and/or Revit skills
- Structural analysis and load calculation expertise
- Project coordination and teamwork
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proven experience in structural engineering (fresh graduates with strong skills may apply)
- Experience in construction or consultancy projects is an advantage
- Knowledge of Qatar standards is a plus
- Professional license/certification is an advantage but not required
